Equipment Hire Terms & Conditions

By booking with The Outdoor Experience Co. (OdECo), you agree to the following terms:

 

  • Hire Period: Equipment is provided for the period agreed at booking. Late returns may incur additional fees.

  • Deposit & Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 25% is due at the time of booking. Full balance must be paid 72 hours before the event.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made within 14 days of hire are subject to a 50% charge. Within 72 hours, full charges apply.

  • Loss/Damage: Hirers are liable for any loss, theft, or damage to equipment during the hire period.

  • Set-up & Use: Equipment must be used responsibly and only for the intended event and location. Sub-hiring is not permitted.

  • Weather/Force Majeure: In adverse weather or unavoidable events, OdECo may cancel or rearrange bookings for safety.

  • Liability: OdECo accepts no responsibility for injuries or damages arising from misuse of equipment. Public liability insurance is held.

  • Changes to Services: OdECo may update or adjust its offerings and hire terms at any time, with notice where possible.

  • Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
